Ecumenical Leadership Formation program sharpening the ECHD’s leading role in coordinating joint efforts to unfold the challenges of ecumenism in the 21st century and their consequences for the vision, interventions and structures of ecumenical organizations and partners with contributing to developing a theological platform for common reflections on the issues of the ecumenical agenda.
Ecumenical Leadership Formation program is encouraging forms of Christian nurture that are ecumenical in purpose, and will emphasize ecumenical formation based on Christian values, attitudes and ways of relating to the others. The program also provide an opportunity to include the work on capacity development, curricula and methodologies for contextualized ecumenical and faith formation offered at different places of the country. The objectives of the program are following:
- To assist the ecumenical formation of a new generation of leadership in congregations, churches and ecumenical organizations in Pakistan;
- To develop human resources committed to the renewal of ecumenical spirituality and understanding Christian tradition; and,
- To provide ecumenical space for sharing spiritual life among congregations, churches and ecumenical organizations in Pakistan
